Job Position: Solution Architect - Service Inventory Management and Network Inventory Management


Skills

7+ years of experience in the IT industry with minimum
4+ years of experience in OSS/NMS especially in Inventory Management Solutions, Service Inventory Solutions
Solution Architecting experience in OSS/NMS Solutions with different COTS Products e.g. Cramer, MetaSolv, Clarity, Axiom , X:Akta etc
Network Engineering Exp
• 2G / 3G transport network experience
• SDH, Ethernet, IP transport experience
• Strong background in Inventory Management / Operations Planning for mobile and fixed operators
• Knowledge of hybrid microwave technology
• Some strong background on the planning processes within a mobile and ISP operator
• Understanding of relational data models on ORACLE databases

Should have experience in Database and System Dimensioning, Solution Preparation and Integration of IM System with other NMS systems.
Candidate should have good hands-on experience on Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server Databases, PL/SQL, Microsoft .Net technologies and/or Java J2EE
Working knowledge on UNIX OS such as HP-UX, Solaris, Linux & Shell Scripting is essential. Should be well verse with CM tools like Clear Case etc
Candidate should have good understanding of Telecom Network (GSM, CDMA and Wireline) especially Network Inventory Architecture and Modeling
Ability to plan and organize the work so that it is efficient and effective and allows service to be delivered promptly and reliably.
Should possess Problem solving, Team building and Leadership Skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Excellent Consultative and Presentation Skills; exposure to different International Customers especially face-to-face dialog with Customers is preferred

Responsibilities
Person will be part of OSS/NMS Projects Delivery Team and will be Technical Responsible for Solutions
Person would have complete responsibility to deliver starting from Requirement gathering to testing and releasing the solution.
Will be the Interface with the Customer, the Project Manager and team members (solution integrators)
Responsible for Solution Documentation for Implementers, Customer, Operations and Support
Technical Sessions and Knowledge sharing with team members
