Title - Solution Architect-Data-Warehouse
Experience - 8+ years
Responsibility:
• Preparation of Logical and Physical Data warehouse Models
• Mapping of Data elements of heterogeneous data sources into the Domain data models
• Designing of various control checks and trend analysis reports
• Designing of Data migration scripts
• Participation in performance tuning activities like database partitioning, indexing strategies, etc
• Designing of ELT strategy for loading of data in warehouse
• Acting as a interface between development, vendor and implementation team for appropriate, correct and optimized implementation of DWH solution
• Documents and provides insight into Best Practices for Data Warehousing
• Participation in Cross Functional Reviews/Peer Reviews as an Author or Reviewer
• Coordination with the Requirements Team to understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed
• Provides relevant inputs for the implementation of the Data Warehouse
• Execution of other activities as assigned
• Responsible for the logical design and implementation of DWH solution
• Ability to resolve various data and performance related issues including the complex data modeling challenges
• Involvement in resolving complex Data related issues
Requirements/ Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science and 7+ years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge on various databases and database platforms
• Ability to make and decide upon Architecture tradeoffs
• Knowledge of industry best practices for design and deployment of DWH solutions
• Knowledge of standard software/applications in the area of ETL, data storage mechanisms, maintenance
